Deanna Scotton is a Naturopathic Doctor, Holistic Health Practitioner, Master Herbalist, and licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. She graduated from New Eden School of Natural Health & Herbal Studies and lives in rural North Carolina with her husband and four children.
After being diagnosed with Ehrlichiosis and Lyme disease at age 16, Deanna spent years searching for answers. A naturopathic approach finally helped her regain her health without the side effects she had experienced from conventional treatments. She later discovered she had passed Lyme disease to her children, deepening her commitment to natural healing.
Through diet, herbal medicine, and faith in Jesus, Deanna's family found a path to better health. Inspired by her own journey, she now helps others navigate chronic illness with compassion, education, and practical solutions. She believes lasting wellness begins with lifestyle changes, informed choices, and hope, and considers it a privilege to walk alongside others on their healing journey.
Daniel Scotton, CPT, BCS
Areas of Expertise: Personal training, general nutrition, behavior change, and ministry.
Daniel Scotton is a Certified Personal Trainer and Behavioral Change Specialist through NASM, as well as an ordained minister in North Carolina. Since 2016, he has dedicated himself to studying fitness, strength training, and sustainable lifestyle change. He specializes in personalized workout programs, proper exercise form, nutrition guidance, and helping others build healthy habits that last.
Raised in rural North Carolina, Daniel developed a strong work ethic while helping on his family's farm. His passion for fitness grew into a calling to help others improve their health and reach their goals. Outside of coaching, he enjoys spending time with his family and teaching his boys to play sports.
Daniel and his wife, Deanna, met in ministry school and have served together in ministry for more than 15 years, including as youth pastors. They share a passion for investing in people and believe that caring for the body God has given us is an important part of living out our purpose. Together, they combine their expertise in physical and internal wellness to help others achieve lasting health from the inside out.

The Health Bar: Health Bar —We love the ladies at this IV clinic and Dr. Williams who works with them. IVs are beneficial, especially when the gut is unhealthy. They now have a hormone clinic that has been helpful in testing and treating female conditions.

Daniel and Deanna Scotton live near Liberty, NC with their four children. They are both passionate about helping people reach true health and wellness through Diet, Lifestyle, and Fitness. True Holistic Health is recognizing that we are physical, emotional, and spiritual beings that need to find time to rest, exercise, and eat the foods in the state that God created them. Daniel and Deanna met in ministry school and have been in the ministry for 15+ years together. They look at Ezer Wellness LLC as an extension of that ministry, where they can help educate and walk beside clients as they reach wellness like they both have been able to do for their family.
